AKA Walter. We purchased this handsome bay roan from D5 Performance Horses in Spring 2022. As a 3-year old he had an allergic reaction that halted his performance career. Walter was bred by Foothills Ranch, sired by Chex Is My Daddy. Chex Is My Daddy was a 3 time PHBA World Champion and PHBA reserve world champion, a 4-time AQHA World Show qualifier, earned AQHA Superior award and was an NRHA money earner.  Chex Is My Daddy is by $3+million sire; Nu Chex To Cash, and Nu Cash are still on his papers.

On the bottom side, his dam is out of the Rocking W program and is a mix of cow, run and foundation lines. Of note is Azul Caballo Amigo, sire of the 1993 Senior Rodeo World Champion Rope Horse and 1998 AQHA/PWRA Heel Horse of the Year.

Walter has proven to sire very athletic and trainable foals who can be found in multiple arenas and venues. Adding to his pedigree and good looks, Walter is 6-panel N/N, E/e, A/a, RN/rn. He is 15.0h and has great feet and legs.

AKA Gilbert.  Gilbert is an exciting 2022 grullo stud prospect by Foothills Beau Dunit, out of a young mare called Five Star Doll Blues. We purchased Gilbert as a weanling from Linwood Equine Ranch. Foothills Beau Dunit is by the immortal Hollywood Dun It. In his own right, Foothills Beau Dunit is a NRHA money earner, holds an AQHA Open Performance ROM, has AQHA points in reining and barrel racing, and then became a team roping horse. Also on his papers are Hollywood Jac 86 and Colonel Freckles

Gilbert's dam was bred by the Cee Heart Ranch in South Dakota. She is a cool mix of old-school run, cow & Hancock breeding. His maternal grandsire, Doubleman Rowdy, has classic Hancock breeding, going back to Blue Valentine 7 times (39%). His maternal 2nd dam goes back to Three Bars 26 times!  Gilbert has no Poco Bueno, Doc Bar or Peppy bloodlines, so he'll be a fun outcross on our mares. We're excited for the versatility he will bring to our breeding program. Gilbert is 6-Panel N/N, E/E, a/a, D/nd2. 

Gilbert should mature close to 16 hands. He is a good-minded stud colt who is eager to learn.
