We're pretty excited about this cross. Goldie has been a great producer for us and we really want to see how she will cross with Gilbert, while we still have the chance. Goldie's foals are always friendly, quiet, and well put together.

Expected Mid April.
We have crossed Fergie on Gilbert this year. Her last 3 foals with Walter have been phenomenal, but we're extremely excited to see the Gilbert foals. Fergie is a young mare that has already proven herself as a mama. Her foals are well built, conformationally correct, athletic, friendly and confident. You could take this foal into a corral with calves, run barrels, look pretty in a show pen, check pastures or head out on a trail for days.

Expected End of April.
We have crossed Annie on Gilbert this year and are extremely excited. Annie is a great producer who makes athletic, conformationally correct foals. The last 2 years she has produced stunning buckskins off of Walter. The colour options are really fun for this cross, but on top of the colour, this foal will have the athletic potential to go in a performance direction. We're very excited to see what this cross brings this year.
Check out Annie's past foals in the foals in the foals page.
Expected May 30th.
For our first breeding with Molly we have crossed her on Gilbert. Molly's foals with Clay Ranch were solid and well built; we expect the same for this foal. We're a big fan of the Little Peppy Jac mares from Clay Ranch. If this foal is a filly it might not be going anywhere! We're expecting something really fancy, with a good chance of colour!
Expected Late April, Early May.
CKM Diamond Drifter is a stunning mare we purchased as a weanling from CKM Quarter Horses. She has become a fantastic mama and did an incredible job on her first foal. She's a very easy horse to have around and is always looking for you when you head into the pasture. As a repeat cross, this foal will be well built, have colour and a lot of ability. This foal will be 6-panel N/N by parentage.
Expected May 4th.
Libby is just one of the easiest mares we own. She loves attention, but is also chill and doesn't get worked up. She is very easy to get along with, fits in with a herd and is pretty as all get out, and makes ridiculously fancy foals! With her pedigree (Frenchmans Guy on top and old-school speed on the bottom) crossed with Walter's ability to also produce barrel runners, we have high expectations for this cross. This foal will be (at minimum) 5-panel N/N.

Expected early May.
Dixie was purchased from Clay Ranch this Spring. She's a smaller framed horse than most of our mares, but she is pretty, has produced some stunning foals in the past, and has a neat pedigree. She has Colonel Freckles and Peppy San Badger on her papers on the topside, and has a cool mix of foundation run on cow that is common in the Clay Ranch program on the bottom. We think the cross on Walter will be a good one. Papers aside, this foal will be athletic, and should really stand out.
Expected mid May.
We chose to have Willow bred while in training at Thunderbird Horse Center this Spring. We originally had our mind set on a different stud, but when we walked through the stud barn and saw King Bear, we changed our mind! King Bear is intensively cow bread, and we think the cross on Willow's reining/cow horse will be magic. Coincidentally, the bottom side of both their pedigrees traces to Scotto Dee Bar.
Expected end of April, beginning of May.
We had admired RL Peptocats King since CKM quarter horses acquired him, and purchased a filly off him 2024. When the opportunity came up to breed to him again, we jumped on it and knew Rio was the right choice. For her first foal, this will be a neat cross. We expect something smart, kind, trainable and athletic. We haven't had Rio colour tested yet, but fairly sure she is slowly greying. So, add on 50% chance of grey to double the amount of the colour options!
Expected end of April, beginning of May.
